There are children's puzzles for so many things, why not for our Catholic faith! This puzzle was created to let children learn about the parts of the altar at mass. It includes the altar, altar cloth, paten, chalice, 2 candles, and a crucifix. The pieces sit higher than the surrounding frame so children can easily place and remove them. The candles, crucifix, altar cloth, and altar pieces fit into the frame while the chalice and paten pieces fit onto the removable altar cloth piece. The name of each altar article is laser engraved onto the frame under each puzzle piece.
Puzzle measures 9.5" high by 12" wide and is made from sanded birch plywood left in the natural unfinished condition. Pieces are made from sanded poplar left in the natural unfinished condition.
I love watching my son work with this, he really enjoys setting the altar!
